Derivative Works Guidelines

Introduction

These guidelines establish the rules for derivative works (fan-made content) created using the streams and related content (hereinafter referred to as “AkiAvis Works”) of the streamer “断崎あき/AkiAvis” (hereinafter referred to as “AkiAvis”) active on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/akiavis).

When creating derivative works using AkiAvis Works, please read these guidelines carefully and comply with the contents.

  • The copyright of AkiAvis Works belongs to AkiAvis.
  • These guidelines do not grant a formal license to the copyright of AkiAvis Works.

Definition of Derivative Works

Section titled “Definition of Derivative Works”

In these guidelines, “Derivative Works” refer to content created using AkiAvis Works that falls under any of the following:

  • Videos
  • Images (Stills)
  • Texts
  • Others

Rules for Derivative Works

Section titled “Rules for Derivative Works”

1. Permitted Acts

Section titled “1. Permitted Acts”
  • Usage within a range that is non-malicious and not considered a nuisance by AkiAvis.
  • Commercial use and monetization.
  • Memes, high-skill play highlights, and short video edits.
  • Harmonizing with the laws of the universe.

2. Prohibited Acts

Section titled “2. Prohibited Acts”
  • Acts that defame or damage the honor or credit of AkiAvis or a third party.
  • Acts that cause disadvantage to AkiAvis or a third party.
  • Spreading false information.
  • Using AI (including generative AI) to create content in a way that misleads others into believing it is an official or endorsed AkiAvis production, or publishing content in a state where such a misunderstanding is likely to occur.
  • Acts that violate laws and regulations.
  • Acts contrary to public order and morals.
  • Other acts that AkiAvis deems inappropriate.

3. Video Upload Rules

Section titled “3. Video Upload Rules”
  • Permitted platforms for uploading are YouTube and TikTok only.
  • If a video or clip clearly focuses on AkiAvis, you must credit the streamer and include the stream URL using one of the following methods:
    • Include a clickable URL in the description box.
    • Display the streamer’s name and URL within the video.
  • If an opponent or collaborator appears for an extended period, please credit them as well if possible.

4. Response to Malicious Content

Section titled “4. Response to Malicious Content”
  • If I judge that content falls under any of the following, measures such as warnings or account bans may be taken:
    • Spreading rumors by manipulating speech (e.g., selective cutting/editing).
    • Editing that makes AkiAvis appear malicious or ill-intentioned.
    • Malicious modification of assets.
    • Using AkiAvis Works in malicious activities or content (including modified images with mosaic/blur effects).
  • If I judge content to be defamatory, legal action may be taken.

  • AkiAvis assumes no responsibility for any damages caused by derivative works.
  • AkiAvis generally does not respond to individual inquiries regarding derivative works.

Changes to Guidelines

Section titled “Changes to Guidelines”
  • AkiAvis may change these guidelines without prior notice.
  • Changed guidelines take effect from the moment they are posted on this page.
  • For derivative works created in the past, the guidelines in effect at the time of creation will apply.

Others

  • If possible, please contact me via X (Twitter) DM or the Contact Form to share your video channel. I will create a list of Permitted Video Creators.
  • Exceptions to video editing rules may be granted on the assumption that collaborators are not viewing the content.
  • These guidelines aim to bring mutual benefits to both AkiAvis and derivative creators.
